Membership: We have a range of membership options available. Packages start at £50 a month and go up to around £150 a month. (We will not let you sign up for more than 2-3 training sessions a week until you have enough experience and fitness to actually be able to use that extra training time). Once you've trained for a while, you are welcome to upgrade.

We offer two membership types: Contract or Pay as you Go.

Contract:

The advantage of the contract is that it helps you overcome the psychological barrier of coming to training. Once you have committed yourself for a contract length, then the price per session comes down the more you turn up and train. Also, the act of committing your self is a determined statement that you intend to follow through with your training. The advantage to us is that it helps with our cash flow and as a thank you, we give you a lower monthly cost than pay as you go and a free month's training at the end of your contract.

  • -We will release you from your contract if you move too far away to train or become ill and cannot train.
  • -You sign up to a contract we offer you a contract break after a month should you decide it is not for you. You can walk away from the remainder of your contract, no problem, just let us know

Pay as you go (monthly):

Does exactly what is says, your membership rolls over on a monthly basis, but you can cancel it at any time. You pay a slightly higher average monthly fee, but get the benefit of extra flexibility.

Foundations:

For those coming to us without CrossFit experience, there is the Foundations course.
Foundations is a 6 session course, run over two weeks, Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 1800-1900. The course covers all the CrossFit basic skills, costs £150 and includes a short, scaled workout with each session.

  • We offer a money back guarantee on the Foundations course. If you are not completely happy by the end of the course, we will give you a complete, no questions asked refund
  • After you complete the Foundations course, train as many of the Workout of the Day classes for free for two weeks

Testing in:

If you think you've got all the necessary CrossFit skills, then book a one hour Personal Training session (£75) and test in. We'll check your technique is safe and effective and then you are welcome to go straight into the WOD classes.

Our model means small classes with high coach to class ratio. We invest in highly skilled, deeply knowledgeable enthusiastic coaches who will motivate you to push yourself harder than you believe possible without being in your face, screaming and shouting. Our aim is to educate you as well as coach you. You won't find any machines in our gym and no mirrors, you will find pullup bars, rings, barbells, kettelbells, chalk and a whiteboard for the scores. All equipment that has proved to work over the last hundred years.

The fitness industry relies on marketing and pictures of models to sell their product, this is mostly narrative (E.g. hype not backed up by data). CrossFit posts data. Real, cold hard data. Look at the main page and you'll see names, times, weights and exercises. The coaches keep the exercises legit and the stopwatch never lies. You could (should you wish) work out the power output for any athlete for any workout. You can see who's trained, how many people can do pullups and how many used assistance bands, workout the average deadlift weight, see who's the fastest runner over 100m etc. etc. If fact, you can compare any athlete's performance with thousands of other CrossFitters around the world doing the same workout.  This clarity makes it very easy to track your performance and increase in work capacity, it also makes for a competitive environement where you will push yourself harder than we ever could. 

You train with us, you commit to train a certain number of times a week, we expect you to be there that number of times a week, if not you will held to account. We will help you improve your nutrition, but at times you will be expected to log your eating and drinking habits. If you need it, we will give you a remedial stretching program and you will be expected to follow it.

What we do works. It has the power to transform lives, change body shapes and positively impact our member's wellness, self confidence and mental health. Best of all you get to join a worldwide community of like minded people. It is hard work, but the rewards are huge.

This week and next (26th and 2nd Sep) CFE sessions on Thursday at 1900, thereafter Tuesdays and Thursdays  Jon Shelby will be coaching sprint/ Interval sessions at CFCL

Sunday - Runday.
Melina will be coaching a long run/ time trial on Sundays at 1500 in one of London's parks. There may well be beer afterwards :-)

Sunday WODs now running 1100-1400. Brad and Jon C will be running Sunday WODs, at last you can train 3 on 1 off and not have to worry about missing training on a Sunday

Thursday mobility WOD at 1800 & 1900. Dell will be running a twenty minute mobility Workout every Thursday at 1800 and 1900. The class will include self inflicted torture using a foam roller, PNF and 3D stretching and a hockey ball if you're really unlucky :-)

CrossFit Coaches Prep Course: 13/14th October sold out



At CrossFit Central London, the training happens in small groups, with expert coaches and a high coach to student ratio. The positive, encouraging atmosphere feeds the sense of community you get when people share sweat and agony, achievement and triumph. People who’ve never tried it will never understand it. All of this takes time. Our members will still be learning new skills, improving others and expanding their fitness horizons for years into their training. Our prescription of constantly varied, high intensity, functional workouts keeps things interesting, helps you get better at real world tasks and pushes your athletic development at a rate you would not believe until you try it for yourself.

This is the best you can get, the return on investment is huge, the experience life changing. The membership page gives an indication of the range of membership packages. We do not compete on price, we compete on quality, skilled professional coaching and training. There are plenty of places out there A LOT cheaper. You get what you pay for. Please check out the lower price places before you come to us so you know what you are getting. The real cost of entry is the effort you are prepared to put into your training and the energy you are prepared to put into the community.

You don’t have to be fit to start, we can accommodate everyone from arthritic grandmothers to Olympic athletes. There are only two requirements. Turn up and train.
